Who?
The 10K is recommended for more experienced runners with a good level of fitness. You need to be at least 15 years old.
When?
The race starts at 11.00 A.M, Sunday 12th May 2024 but you need to be at the start line at least 5 minutes before for race briefing. The 5km and 10km races start together.
Feet?
The route includes running along (beautiful) tracks and paths so we recommend trail shoes, particularly if it has been wet weather before the race.
Route?
The first half is the same route as the 5K. It is mostly flat and very scenic with meadows, forest tracks and the amazing bluebell grove, and includes your first time up heartbreak hill. The second half includes a water station, more trails, another short climb and another chance to see the bluebells, before the delight(?) of heartbreak hill for a second time and across Montague bridge to the finish.
Entry Fee?
£20 (£2 Discount if affiliated with Scottish Athletics)
FREE if collecting sponsorship. For your free place email [email protected]
