ANNOUNCEMENT 22.07.20
Important information regarding coronavirus (Covid-19)

We are sorry to announce that Bluebell Run will not go ahead on what was the rearranged date of 18th October 2020.  (If you have already entered for 2020 we will be emailing all entrants soon)

Like before we haven’t taken this decision lightly, and has come after much deliberation, discussion and advice from our partners. Back in March we had no idea restrictions would still be hampering our efforts in being able to plan just now.

There are too many uncertainties about large gatherings and social distancing making an event like this impossible to plan in 2020.

We really did our best to rearrange a date late enough in the year that we would outrun Covid-19 and provide you all with a 2020 event! Unfortunately, despite our best intentions, that’s not the case, and our priority is your health & safety.

The only course of action just now is to cancel, and rearrange for next spring, the date set is Sunday 16th May 2021.

We know how disappointing this is, but we’re sure everyone will understand why this decision has been made.
All entrants will have the option to roll their entry over to the next Bluebell Run on Sunday 16th May 2021.

If you cannot make the new date then you will of course be entitled to a refund. Please contact Stuweb via contact@stuweb.co.uk and they will take you through the process. Please note that the cut-off date for refunds is the 31st August.

At this difficult time if you feel able to donate your refund to help support us as a charity we would greatly appreciate it. Just let us know you cannot make the new date but wish to donate your refund to MYPAS.

Thank you for your patience, support and understanding.

Did you know all our finisher medals are homemade by volunteers?
Actually - the entire event is  managed and organised by volunteers!
Every penny raised goes to MYPAS who provide health & wellbeing services for Young People in
East Lothian & Midlothian.

Run Bluebell, & raise money for MYPAS at the same time!

We want to encourage more young people in East Lothian and Midlothian to get involved in physical activity, feel better about themselves and make better life choices.

We know when they are supported they can successfully take on challenges like running a 5K.
We also know when the most vulnerable young people in our community feel supported they overcome greater life challenges.

In MYPAS we promote the health and wellbeing of local young people.

We do need help to continue offering valuable services like Art Therapy, Counselling and Drug & Alcohol Support. We also provide an LGBT Youth Project giving young people a safe place to find support.

Your help, however small will make a huge difference! Thank You.
